Zoobs Law

Zoob's LawI encourage everyone to find truth. We will never grow if we close our minds to truth. It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. Many people are not ready to receive truth. We are all at different stages of learning. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

This brings up an interesting fact. Some people might be looking for a solution to a health problem or another concern they are having. When they are introduced to a solution they don’t recognize it as such, and easily discount the new concept as crazy or absurd.

I like Zoob’s Law. It goes like this, “Generally the non-informed can be expected to oppose whatever he does not understand, hiding his own ignorance by a degree of aggressive descent roughly equal to his ignorance. The greater the ignorance, the greater the opposition.”

Sometimes we are quick to judge or form an opinion about things when we do not really know how they work. We condemn things before we know the facts or truth about a matter. Often we make quick assessments of things we know nothing about. Let’s change that by being more open minded.

Remove Excuses

Cat on a ropeMany people make excuses for failure, excuses about your choices in life, excuses about what you feel you have accomplished. Excuses fuel dysfunctional thinking – and consequently, undesirable actions and behaviors. Making excuses instead of taking one hundred percent responsibility for your actions, your thoughts, and your goals is the reason people fail or succeed.

Part of the power of taking responsibility for your actions is that you silence the negative, unhelpful voice in your head. When you spend your thinking time on success, goals and accomplishments, instead of on making excuses, you free up the emotional space formerly inhabited by your negative thoughts and emotions.

The next time you catch yourself making an excuse, whether for the late project, the unmet goal, or the job you work, gently remind yourself – no excuses. Spend your thought time planning your next successful venture. Positive thinking becomes a helpful habit. Excuses fuel failure.

I stood in front of that calm sea watching right at the end of horizon where skies  seem to meet up with blue waters. I lost myself in the view of  sunset. It was amazing. I felt part of it. I wanted to store this moment deep in my memory. I thought that’s how life should be. Just like dreams..

Holidays left behind are soon forgotten, but that moment stuck with me. I asked myself, how can anyone build a beautiful life, a bit, just a bit, like these wonderful fragments.

Find below some ways that can help you have a realistic view about building a glorious life.

1. Live within your means.

Addictions and temptations are the glamour of twenty first century. If you have earned money is hard to keep hold of it. There are a million silent invitations if you just wander around in a shopping mall.
