How to use Essential Oil

Cooking with essential oils is one of my favorite ways to use them.
Peppermint-Did You Know?
Did you know Peppermint is the oil of a buoyant heart? Peppermint brings happiness, and optimism to the heart and soul. It gives strength to the body, mind and spirit, and reminds us that life can be filled with happiness, and there is nothing to fear. When a person uses Peppermint they feel as though they are moving smoothly through life.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is one of hundreds of species in the genus Mentha which also includes spearmint, water mint and forest mint originating in North America and the Mediterranean area of Europe? Peppermint is actually believed to be a naturally occurring hybrid of spearmint and water mint. While some claim peppermint was not hybridized and cultivated until the 18th century in England, peppermint is referenced in ancient texts.
Peppermint oil can also calm the spasms that cause muscle cramps? Menthol which is in peppermint provides effective relief from many respiratory problems including nasal congestion, sinusitis, asthma, bronchitis and the common cold and cough. It is often included as an ingredient in natural chest rubs to help with congestion.

As Time Goes By
How many of us can relate to this scenario? When the kids are out of school I will have time to work on cleaning out the garage. The kids get out of school, then you say, “Ever since the kids have been out of school I have been so busy, I can’t find any extra time to clean out the garage.” Then you say, “Everything will calm down when the kids get back in school, then I will clean out the garage.” The kids get back in school then you realize you are running the kids to dance and soccer practice. You then say, “In November soccer will be over so it will free up more time.” November comes and you say, “I have been so busy I am going to take a few weeks off to watch football.” “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” you say to yourself.
Then December comes and you are so busy with all the Christmas parties and kids concerts you don’t have time to do one more thing. You then say, “After the holidays I will have much more time to clean the garage” January comes and it is so cold you don’t feel like doing anything in the cold weather. You tell yourself, “The first of March the weather will be warming up, I will really be in the mood to do some Spring cleaning.”
Then March comes and goes you tell yourself, “It is such beautiful weather I think I am going to ride my bike or go hit a few golf balls.” Before you know it an entire year has come and gone without cleaning out your garage. Don’t let any excuses get in the way of accomplishing anything in your life that is a worth while goal.

Did You Know?
Zoobs Law
I encourage everyone to find truth. We will never grow if we close our minds to truth. It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. Many people are not ready to receive truth. We are all at different stages of learning. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
This brings up an interesting fact. Some people might be looking for a solution to a health problem or another concern they are having. When they are introduced to a solution they don’t recognize it as such, and easily discount the new concept as crazy or absurd.
I like Zoob’s Law. It goes like this, “Generally the non-informed can be expected to oppose whatever he does not understand, hiding his own ignorance by a degree of aggressive descent roughly equal to his ignorance. The greater the ignorance, the greater the opposition.”
Sometimes we are quick to judge or form an opinion about things when we do not really know how they work. We condemn things before we know the facts or truth about a matter. Often we make quick assessments of things we know nothing about. Let’s change that by being more open minded.
