“Our figures show approximately four and one half million hospital admissions annually due to the adverse reactions to drugs. Further, the average hospital patient has as much as thirty percent chance, depending how long he is in, of doubling his stay due to adverse drug reactions.”

Holy Guacamole

Cilantro oil is extracted from the leaves of the plant. It has long been known that cilantro also helps in cases of indigestion. It may help with arthritis, colds, colic, diarrhea, flatulence, flu, infections, migraines and muscle aches and pains. As for myself, I love using it in lots of recipes. My favorite way to eat it is in guacamole. When I first started using cilantro essential oil I made a big bowl of guacamole. I thought only using one drop would be just right. I was wrong. It was very over powering, so much so that it ended up getting thrown out. If you know how expensive avocados are you will know that was an expensive lesson. Now I just dip a tooth pick into the bottle then stir the tooth pick into the bowl of green goodness. Perfect.

The Sound of Music

Maggie and Leonard
I have a very smart dog Maggie, that loves fresh fruit and vegetables. Many days when I am making dinner she will wait patiently for a small piece of green pepper, potato, onion, peas, bananas, cherries and raspberries. When I throw her a piece of fruit or vegetable to eat, she will catch it in mid air. If she eats to much of a good thing she has really bad gas.

Today the cherries on the tree in my yard are starting to ripen. I was eating so many cherries with my son Daniel. Like the dog, I was starting to make my own sound of music. I knew I was in trouble because I was going to a wedding reception with my wife in a few minutes, and didn’t want to share this musical talent with our friends at the reception.  Click Here to find out what essential oil I used.

A Happy Memory

Image

When I peel an orange, the natural oils spraying from the orange are inviting and creates an environment that is happy and uplifting. The smell of an orange also reminds me of Christmas. For many this is when very happy memories occur. I find it interesting how powerfully connected our memory is to our sense of smell.

Life happens to everyone. One day I was with my friend Charlie. On one of his rare days off we decided to go on a little road trip to visit some of our  friends. We visited for a while. Before we left, Michelle asked me if I wanted to have a Zyto hand scan, to see what essential oils my body needed most at that point in my life.

Let me back up a bit, for those of you who don’t understand what Zyto technology is. It is a machine that looks like a giant computer mouse that sends impulses from your body to a computer. Then it measures how many bio markers are out of the normal range. There are 76 markers possible. The higher the mark, the more things in your body are not in the normal range.

After I did the Zyto scan I was pleasantly surprised how accurate the scan was. For the past few days I had been feeling a little bit down and discouraged, and also having a lack of energy. The number one essential oil that showed up on my scan was orange. Time and time again I have seen first hand the accuracy of the Zyto hand scan.

“Drug medications consist in employing, as remedies for disease, those things which produce disease in well persons. Its materia medica is simply a lot of drugs or chemicals or dye-stuffs—in a word poisons. All are incompatible with vital matter; all produce disease when brought in contact in any manner with the living; all are poisons.”
