“Chase your passion, not your pension.” It is a playful line, but there is something important behind it. Planning for the future matters, but so does making sure we are actually enjoying the life we are working so hard to prepare for.
Passion does not have to mean changing careers, starting a business, or chasing some enormous dream. Often it is found in much smaller things: gardening, writing, cooking, traveling, learning something new, helping someone, or simply making time for something that brings genuine enjoyment.
As life gets busy, those interests can quietly move to the bottom of the list. Responsibilities come first, and someday becomes an easy place to put the things we really want to do. But someday has a habit of staying just out of reach.
Wild Orange seems like a fitting aromatic companion for this thought. Its fresh citrus aroma can add a bright, cheerful character to the atmosphere while you work on a project, make plans, or spend time doing something you enjoy.
Perhaps the better question isn’t, “What should I be doing?” but “What makes me feel excited about being alive?” The answer may point toward something that deserves a little more room in your life.
A pension can help support the years ahead. Passion helps make those years worth looking forward to.
